"A school is where kids, or just young people in general usually, gather to learn about a lot of different things. The one I went to, Hogwarts, was a castle and I lived there for seven years except for the summer. I started when I was 11 and went until you're 18. That's where I learned how to use magic, which I can use to defend myself or attack, make potions to heal, change the size of objects, including food, and--" Sirius puffed out his cheeks briefly as he thought. "A lot. Some people say you can predict the future but seers are rare and I never tried to learn that. Oh, but you can learn about the stars. I liked that subject."
