"Well, mine actually did name me something accurate," Hiccup acknowledged begrudgingly. "Hiccup is the same word we use for, ah, runts on our island. Apparently, I was pretty small when I was born. Still am, really, compared to other Vikings."

He was six feet tall now, so that said something about the size of most of his people. The fact that it was mostly in the legs and he hadn't developed hulking muscle mass still set him apart from the others, though neither he nor they cared about that anymore.

"It was a bigger deal when I was growing up than it is now, though," he said, scratching his chin.
