When the other guy mentioned the Zombie Apocalypse, Kieren flinched, giving the ground a hard, bitter stare, a mixture of guilt and bad memories flooding his mind. Of course, they didn't call it that where he was from, but it didn't surprise him that Americans had their own terms for the Rising.

"I think we're all a long way from home," he commented. The people who took them, they might have American accents, but this place...it wasn't the America Kieren knew, and there's no way things could have gone this crazy across the pond without him having heard word of it. This place...it was somewhere else.

Kieren watched the guy as he climbed, feeling a bit nervous. That structure didn't look too sturdy...but when the other guy called him to follow, Kieren did so. He was already dead, what did he have to worry about?

Kieren climbed up after him, not making as quick of progress, but still managing to get up there and helping him pull on the canopy.

"So you left Georgia after the Rising, then?"
