With a soft huff of light amusement at Rhodey's words, he looks at the man and casually tosses the figure towards him for him to catch, the little elephant tumbling in the air as Tony speaks up.

"This is my fifth arena. And I've died in everyone so far. Really after the second time it's kind of hard to take seriously."

Which considering Tony's life endangering tendencies, it's not really a surprising statement. He turns back to the shelf of toys and gifts and starts looking for anything electrical again.

"Never really been conscious when they bring me back to life, so I can't really tell you how they do it. But this?" He raises his hand to show off the cut. "Won't even be a scab when I wake up after dying. I've seen people who lost limbs in here, walking and waving arms back in the Capitol."

He picks up an obscenely colourful lion lamp and turns it upside down to start cannibalizing parts.

"So, uh. When you think about it we're really just in a live version of... Call of Duty? Battlefield? Which one's still actually selling copies again?"

This was good, having Rhodey here. Despite how much he would try to hide from the man he has always felt comfortable around him, which is probably why he teases him within an inch of his life most days.
