Rictor snorted at that, but didn't argue. Honestly, if Monet was the next person they saw, he'd happily take her, powers or no powers. (You still have your powers, a silent voice cut in. You have to. You can feel it.) Madrox or Lorna might attempt to be far too calm and reasoned about their predicament, Layla would be... Layla, but Monet would be one-hundred-percent down for wholesale destruction. Rictor hadn't forgotten about that whole crucifiction incident.

"Matches, iodine and a roll of steel cord. The first two are good for heat and water, I guess. Not sure what we'll do with the last one." He'd expected more when he'd looked inside, but he was getting an idea of how this "game" worked and couldn't be too surprised. He hadn't had to scuffle much to get this bag, and guessed the bigger prizes would've been closer to the center.

It would be enough for now. As loathe as he was to say anything good about Cable, the man had equipped X-Force to survive no matter what the situation. He probably hadn't anticipated a televised extradimensional death-match, but it wasn't as if Rictor was disadvantaged there either.

He glanced back at Star and the gleaming black baton which swung by his side. "Did you have to fight someone for that?"
