Kevin is a normal, spunky teenage boy since his father never remarried. He uses normal hygiene, has short hair, and, while he may gravitate toward black and red, his clothes are right on the edge of classy and edgy instead of grungy. He still has a temper but it's not as noticeable. He's playful, competitive, and absurdly sweet when he falls in love. And let's not forget popular. Life as a Tribute is much harder for him. He's never killed anyone before and isn't sure if he actually can.

Eliot is hardened killer. His charm hides ruthlessness and callousness. He has acquaintances and allies but he doesn't do friends. They're not worth the liability. Being a Tribute doesn't really faze him. He's not happy that he had no choice about it but he wouldn't have refused if he had. In fact, he's probably won by now and gotten President Snow's attention as a useful weapon.
