It's time for...

We all know our characters like the back of our hands. We know what they like, and what they don't like, all their fears and hopes and dreams, and what made them that way. But imagine a world where, for whatever reason, something went horribly wrong, and your character is a bizarre inversion of their normal self.
That's what this world is for! Post and tell us what your character's bizarro version would be like, how their life would be different, how their relationships would be different, how their time in Panem might have been different if you're playing a tribute. Thread things out between mirror versions, if you like! This is a 'what if' meme, so anything is possible.

This Signless took on the title of Sufferer before his death just to prove a point. He lifts lowbloods up on not with a promise of love and peace but with a promise that if they all work together, they can have revenge on the highbloods that have abused and oppressed them. Alone they are weak, but together they're an unstoppable brute force. Instead of channeling his passion and his oration skills into the work of a preacher, he channels them into the work of a general, and he probably gets pretty far before he's killed in battle against the Empire. Needless to say he's perfectly happy to murder... so long as he's murdering highbloods. Or people who don't agree with him.
His time in Panem probably went a lot better for him, on the arena front. A war-hardened man who's used to fighting in adverse conditions and with very few supplies would probably shine in the arenas. On the other hand, he'd probably have been even more violently outspoken against those in power in Panem... and probably physically violent, as well. Special attention would have to be paid to breaking him, if they wanted him to keep playing pet. Either that or he'd just be deemed not worth the trouble and executed (which he would have been delighted by, because being very visibly martyred is always better than just plain ol' dying for a cause).

Signless is the one taking care of him that first arena, isn't he?

Mirroverse him is basically if he didn't get turned into the most awful person and stayed exactly the same as he was to begin with. He preaches peace under the Messiahs glory and believes that under their names, all people bleed as equals and so are equal. He tries to be friends with everyone he can. (He also maybe doesn't have daddy issues, because mirrorverse, wow, congratulations kiddo, you beat the cycle) And by the way, you can call him Kurloz Makara. No, it's alright, just Kurloz is fine, my brother/sister. And fuck yeah he's got at the interest in looking after you. :o)
He's rather distressed and saddened by the games. He just wants people to chill, none of this fighting and killing nonsense. But since he can't do much about it (and sucks at fighting!), he tries to offer support to others through faith; his own, and helping people to get in touch with their own sense of faith/hope. If Capitol were to grow tired of this all, he could be easily broken again with just the right application of messing with his mind, buuuut would more likely than not, just be made into an avox. and keep with his character motifs.]no subject
Remember Volanz? Yeah, kind of like that. Unlike normal Karkat whose mutation drives him to strive really fucking hard against his own nature to be everything a troll is supposed to be (an aggressive violent asshole), Mirror Karkat's reaction to being a mutant is to try to melt away into the wall and hide. He's deferential to everyone and hardly ever talks about a whisper.
And just like Karkat is a nicer person than he pretends to be, Mirror Karkat is a lot meaner than he seems.

Jack is known to be pro-Rebellion, having said he wished the Capitol would be attacked, although the Capitol surprisingly spares him. Its for one of two reasons: either they believe him to be not much of a threat due to his addictions, particularly since his health has suffered to the point where he'd hardly even be worth torturing without killing him. Or perhaps it is their way of punishing him - to deprive him of death. Either way, Jack manages to find enablers who are all too willing to support his habits - including the Director - so long as he continues them.

She is pleasantly plump and always warm and open to helping others even from other districts.
She is a timid sort though, shirking away from challenges and trying to find compromise rather then conflict.
And he hates cats, too!
But Sigma's motivation was not sympathetic to those who had died: rather, he amassed the knowledge he'd need to live a comfortable life for himself once he returned to the past (collecting lottery numbers, learning sensitive information of world leaders, using his skill in genetics for his own benefit, etc.). He made the Nonary Game much more violent compared to the one seen in canon: rather than the penalty for rule infraction or loss of points being painless lethal injection, a bomb goes off in the player's stomach. There are also weapons lying around.
He did not care when the woman who had fallen in love with him, Diana, left him - he'd led her on only for her body. He was cruel to his son Kyle, and refused to allow him to call him "Father", finding him disgusting and used him only as a tool. When he returned to the past, he refused to allow Kyle to go with him, trapping him in the "bad" future. When he learned that an alternate universe version of himself (canon) had failed to save the world because he chose to save Diana's life rather than his own, he killed her without hesitation to prevent it. Because of these actions, this Sigma saved the world and thus was able to keep his 22-year-old appearance.
He was then brought to the Capitol, and is a ruthless, heartless, and cruel competitor who is especially rude to women. He openly calls himself a "victor", and tells of his past actions as Gamemaker without shame.

Mirror Bert is also fairly non-violent and shies away from fights.

He still makes the alliance with Signless and Karkat but instead of them being Signless' protectors, they're the fail first members of his army. Or rather Karkat is and Cuthbert is dragged along.Just so you know, Karkat killed Lottie on purpose instead of Bert accidentally.

You were wrong.
You see, the Psiioniic never heard the words of equality that would inspire him to leave his place in society. He never managed to escape slavery the first time around, instead quietly serving increasingly violent masters until one day, after 20 years in servitude, he had enough and he ended up killing his master in a fit of psychic chaos.
Now, he was as good as dead. He had done something completely unforgivable, and after years of his mind and sense of self-worth being warped, he went into a self-imposed exile. He had killed the only reason he had any value - his master, his reason for being - and the stress that caused broke his mind completely. He's not the irritable, angry, headstrong troll everyone in Panem knows (and loves, because he is the Best). Instead, he's a nervous, weak-willed, self-deprecating troll who feels like his only reason in life is to serve anyone with blood higher than his.
Well, okay, the self-deprecating stuff isn't all that different.
edit: ALSO, because he didn't use his powers nearly as much, mirrorverse Psii has a lot less finesse and control over his psionics. As such, anytime he uses them things...tend to get awful and explode-y.
Pruna the paladin!
They have names and knowledge of family and the inkeepers are light followers. Very passionate light followers. She is brought up believing that the dark is evil and must be destroyed at all opportunities. She is trained to fight (though she isn't an assassin) and knows she will follow her fathers footsteps and be a warrior.
Later instead of her sister being redeemed she is corrupted, the end result is the same, 'pruna' kills her. Mirrorverse Pruna is much more broken up about it though, as it is the first time she is killed.
But at canon point this hasn't happened yet and mirror verse Pruna would come into the games angry at being kidnapped and forced to kill in the arenas. Refusing to fight for those she believed to be serving darkness. Anyone who she see's as bad or evil she believes should be destroyed for the good of the world.

Eliot is hardened killer. His charm hides ruthlessness and callousness. He has acquaintances and allies but he doesn't do friends. They're not worth the liability. Being a Tribute doesn't really faze him. He's not happy that he had no choice about it but he wouldn't have refused if he had. In fact, he's probably won by now and gotten President Snow's attention as a useful weapon.
