What does your character look like?

Because icons aren't always the most accurate, today's not!meme asks you to describe your character's physical appearance. Height, weight, eye and hair color, build, distinguishing marks, etc. And if they've had any physical changes since arriving in the Capitol (i.e., new robo-arm, sporting a rad eyepatch, suddenly becoming a human) you can share that as well!  And if you use a PB, who are they, why did you pick them,etc.?

Howard Bassem

Howard is teeny. We don't get much physical description for him in the books, but what we do get is: small, short, skinny, little, thin, and apparently so light that when an average kid walks on the floor above Drake, Drake can hear from the weight of the footsteps above that it isn't Howard. I figure he's about five feet tall and, when healthy, about a hundred pounds (which puts him in the bottom 5th percentile for height and bottom 10th percentile for weight for his age). Everything about his frame is tight and petite, with the exception of his fingers, which are long piano player-like fingers.

He appears even smaller because, having come straight from the FAYZ, he's emaciated. He has dark circles under his eyes and bones that stick out in a way that makes anyone with empathy cringe a little. Patches of his hair are brittle and come out easily. His fingernails curve at an odd angle and have strange dents in them. After each revival he weighs in at about seventy pounds, which is unhealthily skinny for his size.

He has dark skin and short, curly hair that he keeps shorn for easy maintenance. His eyes are dark brown, nearly black, and usually bloodshot from insomnia. His mouth is constantly covered in sores and rashes from chewing and picking at his lips, as are his fingertips. He's asked his stylists to fix his teeth and nose before waking up each time, so his nose is straight again (rather than kind of crooked from having been broken) and his teeth are too-white and perfectly straight and a little too big for his mouth now.

Howard's under the unfortunate misconception that wearing baggy clothes makes him look bigger; it doesn't. He usually looks a little bit like he's drowning in fabric. He tends to wear shorts, which turn into capris on him, because it means that he doesn't have to worry about tripping on the hem of his pants. He's always wearing pockets and multiple layers, and his Stylists have taken to padding his clothing to try and hide how scrawny he is. This also helps because being that skinny means he's cold pretty much all the time, which gives him a tendency to hunch, curl up and otherwise shrink himself.

He's very physically expressive, both with his face (eyebrows, eyes, mouth, nose, head angle, the whole shebang) and with his hands. He's one of those people who talks with hand gestures and seems almost cartoonish with their body language.
