The Return of the District Suite Meme

Basically, this meme is to figure out what it's like living with each other if our characters don't have CR already! Go below to your District thread and post what it's like living with your character. Do they leave their dirty dishes in the bathroom? Hit their snooze button eighteen times each morning? Steal food out of the fridge? Sexile people out of the living room? Leave passive-aggressive notes? Arrange "talking pillow" circles whenever someone forgets to say thank you?

Eponine is probably an annoying District-mate to have. Although quite quiet in the suite, and often absent for several days at a time, she also has a habit of pocketing bits left unattended in the common area of the suite, which later end up in her bedroom. She takes anything and everything, from books and pens to bobbles, earrings, necklaces, even flowers. If it goes missing, it's probably in her room.

Her room is quite messy usually, because she usually has a lot of stuff. After having nothing, she hates to throw things away. She collects all sorts of things. Jewellery is hung up on her walls with nails and pins. Her carpet is littered with bits of paper, filled with carefully practised letters. In a corner, there is usually a pile of fan mail that Eponine slowly works her way through, screws up and throws into the opposite corner. There are several images of herself and Eva and herself and Sigma pinned haphazardly on the walls too. Her bed is often unmade: cushions usually litter the floor. Under her bed, there are boxes - each box contains bits of food: tins of fish and beans and fruit and sweets and chocolate - just in case she feels hungry. Sweet papers and ice cream tubs also litter the floor, along with the odd spoon.

Right now, Eponine's room is largely empty. There are still pins on the wall, and the odd photograph, and there are still some bits of food beneath her bed, but nowhere near as much as usual. Her wardrobes are largely empty and all her trinkets and memorabilia have gone. When her father was in the Capitol, he sold a great many of her belongings to eager Capitol citizens. Eponine's room does sport a rather large rug, concealing the spot where she murdered her father.

Right now, Eponine is not living in D3. Jessica has chucked her out, which means that there will be at least a little piece from her tears and her occasional sleep-shouts. It also means that many belongings have mysteriously stopped disappearing.

Also I know this isn't a plotting post but once he's out of the arena and finds out what happened can he try and make peace between Eponine and Jessica?

[You can totally plot. Peace making is definitely OK. I don't want her to be homeless forever!]

Excuse you he needs those to go out in the sun. Pale eyes have issues like that.

Well, if you want to write it into 'Game Canon', then it's up to you if you would like Papa T to have sold them or for them to be neneath the bed.

Yeah - I hear Albert has been making as bad posts as Epsy. Technically, this is his fault. If he hadn't wound Jess up, Eps wouldn't be sleeping in a bin.

They could have been sold. He can always get another pair, lol. It's not important but it could be a post later with him looking for them and having to wear big ol' lame grandpa sunglasses in the meantime.

And it's totally not his fault that Eponine can't hold her tongue wow. Albert apologized. See?

Fine. Albert's the noble one. Eponine can be the screw up, yet again. :p

Haha. Poor old Bertie. He'll look so fetching. He'll be in Capitol Vogue for sure!

She's a teenager, she's supposed to screw up XD Papa Al will look out for her a little if she'll let him.

Oh my god they'll laugh at him in all the magazines.

Papa Al? Two Papas, not including the dead one mouldering away under D3s floorboards? She'll be so pleased. Old men seem to like looking out for Epsy.

To be fair he dads at all the wayward youth, but Eponine is more wayward than most...

And that is so gross. She needs to learn how to dispose of dead people properly.

You know what? Take it up with post-Revolution France. She is but a product of the times.

Blame the Avoxes. They're pretty dumb.

I think he'd just blame her parents. Or does. He did read the book.

Albert isn't usually even in District 3 unless he needs to talk to someone or if he's kicked out of 2 for whatever reason (events, making Jet mad, etc). When he is, he's fairly conscientious and meticulous. He's used to living alone and he likes things neat, so he tends to cook his own meals whenever he can get away with it instead of taking advantage of the ridiculously opulent meals the kitchen system spits out. He washes all dishes and cooking utensils after using them and even replaces chairs to where they were at tables when he gets up. He never takes anyone else's food and labels his own if he has leftovers. If he doesn't label it, then he doesn't care if someone takes it.

He's an early riser and so sometimes he can be heard or even caught knocking around at 5:30 or so making breakfast before heading down to the gym. His gym clothes are a little... tight. And the shorts definitely earn their name. (Blame his stylist. Or don't. What can I say, he's European). He makes a conscious effort not to be at all loud until at least 10, and he's not a very boisterous person to begin with.

When he's around, he goes out of his way to greet roommates or to offer them some of whatever he happens to be making, usually coffee or tea, but if you want some breakfast or something, feel free to ask. He's an average cook.

All that said, first thing in the morning before coffee he's a downright ornery beast so I wouldn't suggest talking to him until he's had at least one cup.
