[Chuckles and runs a slender finger down the pulse of Eponine's throat.]

Besides, I'm pretty sure I could find other things to make you happy.

Yeah?

[She tilts her head obediently, letting Diana have better access to her throat.]

Like what?

[Diana's tongue snakes up the trail her finger just marked.]

Oh, I can come up with a few things.

[She winks again.]

Maybe involving these lips you're so interested in.

[gardienne]

[Eponine laughs softly.]

Or perhaps it is I do not feel like just giving in to you today?

[She's making no move away from Diana though.]

[Her arms loosen, daring Eponine to pull away.]

Sure you don't.

[She runs her eyes over the brunette's hair.]

Have you been washing that like I showed you or just scraping the poor thing into a bun everyday?

[She doesn't pull away though. Rather she pouts, and runs her fingers through the top of her greasy, half undone plaits.]

It hardly matters, does it?

[She gives a frustrated sigh through her nose and rolls her eyes.]

Yes. Yes it does. Because I put time into that.

[One of her hands catches in the back of Eponine's hair to give it a tug.]

Is it really that much of an effort to give it a quick wash and comb through?

You liked it when I waved it.

I have had bigger things to go on, you know? Everyone is dying and I am caught into a lie. It is bigger than hair, Diana. But I am glad you are back. You can look after my hair for me, no? And I shall keep you alive.

Your hair will be the one that's bigger if you don't start brushing it.

[Unimpressed. Another tug for you Eponine. Then a small kiss to soften the blow.]

I'm not your stylist. I can't brush it every day.

[Sorry, Eps. Azula's cornered the market on keeping Diana alive in exchange for 'company'.]

It is in plaits. It is managed.

[Eponine frowns, and pulls her head back, to ease Diana's tug.]

You don't want to see me every day?

[Another eyeroll.]

I don't want to brush your hair every day no. I didn't say anything about not wanting to see you, did I?

[Kisses Eponine's exposed throat.]

Well, stop fussing for it then. [Eponine grumbles, but she giggles at Diana's kiss.]

You're not willing to do this little thing for me?

[A hand strokes the side of Eponine's face lazily and she plants a couple of kisses around the corners of her mouth.]

That's not very fair, Eps.

[gardienne]

[Eps turns her head, in an attempt to make Diana miss and kiss her properly.]

Will that make you happy? Truly?

Truly happy? No. It's hair. But it would make me happier yes.

And help me pay attention to you more because right now it's hard to focus without thinking 'oh my god, let me fix that mess'.

[Diana allows a proper kiss once she's made her criticism.]

[gardienne]

[With her lips pressed against Diana's, she murmured,]

Perhaps we could fix it together?

Perhaps. You should brush. Your. Own. Damn. Hair.

[Punctuates each word with some harder kisses.]

[gardienne]

[Eponine giggles and pulls away.]

Or maybe you can shut up and kiss me proper.

[Smug, challenging look.]

Or maybe you can kiss me for a change?

You don't think I will, do you?

[She smirks, before pressing her lips back against Diana's. For a minute, she simply kisses, innocent, but... but she dares herself, and pushes at Diana's lips with her tongue.]

[Diana meets Eponine's dare with a challenge, parting her lips and flicking the tip of the other girls tongue with her own, inviting it in further.]
