Terezi is an enigma within a mystery within a box--or she was. Meulin found her a little less mysterious after discovering she was a secret rebel. A little. She was still strange and oddly insistent on being friends and so comforting at the oddest times. Even before she found out she was a rebel, she found her disturbingly easy to get along with, to the point where she'd have to remind herself not to trust Terezi.

And then suddenly she could and it was the best, because the urge to be friends wasn't leading her astray. For once. She suddenly trusted Terezi more because they were on the same side and Terezi knew her secret. And trusting someone with her secret was a very very big deal. Terezi and Psiioniic might have been the only ones who knew it outright. I do wish they'd gotten more of a chance to be friend friends in person before Rezi got whisked off.

There's a little bit of pale feeling on Meu's part though she'd just describe it as wanting the best for Terezi, wanting to make sure she's okay, like she'd do for all her friends... She sort of sees Terezi's looking out for her in the same vein. For all she knows about moirails, she would need this pointed out to her. She just doesn't pick up on things as easily when it's about her. Sad to say that Meu will apply this same 'looking out for Terezi' in the present to wholly different effect.

And speaking of the present, we come to how Meu feels now. And that is...complicated. She doesn't trust her as intensely as she once did, because of her political leanings, but she still likes her. She's a loyal person and a good friend, even if she's got things all wrong. She's in love with a Kurloz too, even if they're the traitorous one. It's complicated to care about someone she sees as so misguided and wrong. She just wants to help her and bring her to the right side, so they can be friends again without the bad feeling.
