China was so delighted to have a Tribute who seemed to have a good head on his shoulders! She's impressed with how quickly he caught on and accepted the facts of life in Panem, and she's extra impressed with how far he went in his first Arena. She thinks of him as a generally affable, quick-on-the-uptake guy, which means that she definitely intends to try and cultivate a familiarity of some sort with him--he could be useful one day. She hopes he'll be smart and stick to the Capitol side.
