Age Meme
~Age Change Meme~

1. Your character has been brought back/drank some magic potion/awoken as a different age!
2. Are they younger? Older? Tiny? Ancient? Can they remember everything before, have they forgotten completely, or are they in some foggy in-between? What are they like now if any different at all?
3. Post with your characters! Add prompts or just simply talk about them!
4. Pictures can be thrown in too if there are any at all!
5. Tag each other and thread things out! Did you ever want to see if someone was a bratt when they were young or if they ever matured? Now you can!
6. Have fun!

Bitty Brainy
It's too sincere, though. The seriousness is very real and clearly he's a child that feels childhood doesn't apply to him. He doesn't give off the impression that he even knows how to play. Instead, he gives the impression that there isn't a bit of mirth in his soul.
He vaguely remembers his later life and why he's in Panem, but not enough to pay it much mind.
A tablet is in his hand, one he's using to mostly ignore everyone, but he grabs the nearest person and gestures to the Peacekeepers that brought him into the room.
"These imbeciles won't show me to a lab and are forcing me to socialize." He lets out a long-suffering little sigh. "I'm fairly sure I'd rather be put to death via some form scaphism in the arena than have to talk to you apes, but seeing as I'm being forced to, talk at me for several minutes while I nod and pretend I care about what you have to say."

Jules just looks at him with large, confused, dark brown eyes and clutches closer the toy bear he'd been given (which he didn't recall the name for, he could only define it as not-Kukalaka.)
no subject
"I know the translation is working and you're at an age where you should be capable of verbal communication, so talk already."
So demanding.
no subject
His speech is careful and slow, and there's a bit of a stammer in his voice.
"M'sorry. I...don't know what you said."
no subject
He hasn't been exposed to human children but on average the humans he's been exposed to are fairly intelligent compared to most species. Primitives compared to Coluans but average enough. Therefore he assumes their children are intelligent, too.

"I..."

It causes a strange prickling sensation in Brainiac's chest and he becomes acutely aware of the fact that they've all been kidnapped for a death match.
His tone is minutely less harsh as he says haughtily, "If you are, you shouldn't feel bad over it." He avoids Jules' eyes by looking at his tablet. "To me, all humans are stupid. Compared to me, even the rest of my people are stupid. So you're no different than anyone else in that regard. It's a matter of scale and it's not your fault you're human."
no subject
And he does feel ashamed. He's a disappointment to his teachers, but worse, his parents.
no subject
He actually looked up from his tablet now, trying to catch Julian's eyes.
"I'm smarter than them all and they hate me for it. So you see? It doesn't matter how smart you are - people will always find some stupid reason to despise you even if you're better than they are - especially if you're better than they are. You should just ignore them. That's what I do, I just ignore everyone and focus on my work."
no subject
"I have Kukalaka, but no one else likes to play with me."
no subject
He doesn't know what a Kukalaka is but he assumes it's a pet or something like it.
"I don't play but if you want, I suppose you can stay near me. If I'm talking to you no one else will bother me and you're far more tolerable than some would be."
He's a child and a dumb one, in Brainiac's eyes, but there's a part of him that perceives Julian's innocence and he finds the idea of a child like Julian being stuck in a death match...troubling. He isn't even smart enough to know what's going on, not really.
no subject
"I can be quiet." He rather often is, actually. It's hard for him to interact with his peers since he either can't hold a conversation on the same level, or they don't have the patience to deal with him. Sometimes both, and more.
And no, he has absolutely no idea what is going on. Not in the least. And it's quite possible he wouldn't understand it even if explained to him.
